@LaserdiscTurtle@mas.to yoo, pitch black. I actually came into acquisition of a (working!) HD DVD/Bluray drive recently, I guess now if I ever do see HD DVDs I'm obligated to pick them up.

@LaserdiscTurtle@mas.to that’s a steal. i still have warm memories of picking up my toshiba a30 hd-dvd player when the format was going out of style. i think i paid $50 for it - unreal considering the same player was $600 a year earlier. i’d love to start an hd-dvd collection just for fun
