Is it possible that major DNS providers such as Google (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) and maybe also Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) are currently down or at least offer disruptive services? I normally don't use them, but colleagues sometimes do: Whereever I see any of configured in local setups, I get severe name resolution issues at the moment. Hmmm...

@sunweaver@fosstodon.org That probably means that **your** DNS resolvers are insecure. DENIC is currently serving invalid DNSSEC signature for all of .de, which is why things legitimately don't resolve. If your resolver doesn't care, that's probably a reason to worry.
