@zakalwe @jaystephens @mmantscheffau.bsky.social @Greg_mrt Ai companies certainly follow that mantra hard and making hundreds of billions out of it. Guys running The Pirate Bay only made profits to sustain the servers and website yet were hunted down like worst criminals in the world. Funny how that works...

They aren't even making any pretense of attempting to buy legal rights to the vast amounts of material they copied.
