It’s weird to be using Swarm (née Foursquare) in the year 2026. After a congratulatory notice from the app, I think “Oh, great. I’m the mayor of CityName Medical Foundation – Cardiology building!” Where in 2010, a check in to Super Cuca’s would immediately cause a text from a friend vowing to get their crown back (and or a request to bring them back a burrito).
