@hgrsd Human society is a primate dominance architecture. Either you are forced to do the bidding of the other primates throwing feces at you, or you get to throw feces at them. Those are the two speeds our genetic make up lets us have.
Life would be different, had we evolved from wild dogs or cats.

@rrb Without wanting to take away from the merits of that argument, one would hope that children's literature lets us briefly escape that reality 😃

@rrb @hgrsd Luckily, this is just a cultural myth, and not real biology How awful it would be, if it were real! It's bad enough that a large minority in our culture think it is true
