But it will collect some power, looks cool, and prevents the building from being another grey eyesore in the downtown. The artwork is probably on the north side since it's not the biggest power generator anyway, and will keep the art from fading as fast.

  • @reallyflygreg @AmeliasBrain @Daveography I think vertical solar panels can take in a bunch of reflected light as well, especially if the building is tall. If your panels are roof mounted it basically never makes sense to aim them north but the calculation is different for opportunistic vertical.
