@peterbrown@mastodon.scot Reform, the party leading the polls in the UK, is devoted to denying & accelerating global warming. UK homes are ditching fossil fuels fast, while also voting fast for horrible racists who will keep them hostage of fossil fuels. Much like Trump supporters in the USA.

@peterbrown@mastodon.scot Unfortunately electricity is priced at the highest cost provider, which is natural gas, and thus subject to the same price spikes. To add insult to injury, gas is not taxed as heavily as electricity in the UK.
