#Linux Ddesktop folks, anyone can explain to me why archive "managers" still like File-Roller (GNOME, at least some time ago I still used it) or Ark (Plasma) look like from 2000s? Why no drag&drop? Why no file-open associations consistent with the rest? Why "Extract to..." with confusing path semantics? Why not VFS mount in nautilus/dophin, via fuse? I regularly switch to terminal mc for archives, e.g. after downlaoding them in Firefox. Any alternatives there?
