Looks like Erich von Däniken passed away in January. I read one of his books as a kid.

@0x10f@tech.lgbt I got one of his books from my father when I was a young teenager and read it front to back. I believed this ancient aliens stuff for a while, though his depiction of the UFO didn't really match the description and that made me rethink this whole thing. Now I watch Miniminuteman on YouTube 😄
