My take on #AI and #LLMs in #IT: I am absolutely against slop PRs and will never accept them, but I am ok if an author used AI to dig deeper into some topic and they understood what they are doing. But usually if someone knows how to code, they know how to use LLMs (no imperative coding, no funky var names etc) so this usage won't be visible anyways. Also, throwing sloppy code to people at work seems to be not very polite. I wish every LLM subscription has a mandatory supplement of AI savoir vivre.
