Even if it did revolve around programming, in some of the forums I see "programmers" skip writing specifications and protocols entirely in favor of magic "solve everything all at once" (hint: they don't) systems...
Anyway, I have also noted aspects of this will mire most vibe software in a cottage industry few will engage with.
We'll go back to other social cues for quality like specifications many can engage with, reputation metrics, word of mouth etc.

@beet_keeper@digipres.club The "good-old" #FOSS community dynamics - which closely relate to what I've learned in history about "guilds" who did a pretty good job for centuries. I QUIT my job(s) when I was asked to build things "improperly" to: - ship/sell faster - earn more by charging to fix (self-built) issues - make things incompatible **I put my lifetime into my work. and I want me to be proud of my work - and my lifetime.**
