@gourd If you have time and patience, then absolutely. One thing you'll learn is why there's so many kind-of-frontends (like firewalld or networkmanager) or tools with duplicated functionality (ifconfig vs ip) in modern Linux.

@branch300bpm and hey, at least I know Linux isn't affected by BIOS disk addressing bugs :ac_laughter: (Those trashed so many OS installs until I figured it out and installed a modded BIOS that fixes that but isn't a precise match for my mobo so I have to disable integrated audio and USB that don't exist and power management it can't do.)
