Was watching a video I did with my music fraternity five years ago, where we did a pre recorded video of small performances since we couldn’t do a real live one. I was music director and so I got to do all the video recording, audio recording. and I split the mixing and video editing among other people. I did a small guitar performance of Dee, a small Randy Rhoads classical guitar instrumental off of Ozzy’s first solo album. In addition to the nostalgia of remembering all that was going into the recording process, it just got me thinking about Randy. He was such a good musician, it’s so sad that he didn’t get a chance to have a full music career. Those two albums he did with Ozzy have had so much of an impact on me as a guitar player.
