Today's lobste.rs pulse monitoring: https://larsfaye.com/articles/agentic-coding-is-a-trap So that sounds dire, but actually the author is a quite complete coding assist believer and user. He discusses various reasonable (ie, based in fact, if not complete prescriptions) problems and outcomes from using them. At the end he says he uses them heavily, but his preference to fight the slop is to write 20%+ of the code manually and have them work filling that in. Well, OK. As he says, his quality went up, but not his speed.
