I would still say this if I wasn't agere but growing up kills you. Not like you'll drop dead once you're "grown", but you will rot inside. When you choose to stop growing you become stunted and stagnate. Your walls go up and you start blocking things out. You stop learning unless you're in a position to keep taking in new information. You give up on the things that make you happy and give you purpose because "you have to". Eventually you stop empathizing with those younger than you, maybe even writing them off because "you know better". It won't do it slowly but adulthood will get you. You won't be six feet under but a shambling, angry husk of a person. DON'T GROW UP!
