@Faintdreams Rockbox is not destructive and doesn't override the iPod's Pixo OS (its internal OS). It merely sits alongside it and patches the iPod bootloader to boot Rockbox over Pixo. But dual booting is an option and the whole process is completely reversible and will leave your iPod stock again. Think of it like dual booting different OSes on your computer... rather than boot the preinstalled system; you installed another OS alongside it and want to use that one instead.
