And the ER stint begins. Afib hasn’t settled (though it thankfully hasn’t been severe), but with it heading up to 18+ hours it was time to call in and get it checked out. Current mood:

Been through the waiting and diagnosis, and a magnesium drip. Vials of blood drawn and x-ray done, now just waiting for confirmation that I can go home and wait it out there. Second year medical student did my cannula and that was about as fun as you can imagine but I was happy to have her practice on me, rather than someone in a real emergency situation. Anyway, here’s an obligatory unflattering hospital pic.
