@BartoszMilewski Yes, we have. It's called chromatin diminution, it isn't exactly common
This paper shows 90% genome reduction in Cyclops kolensis https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30376670/, germline (reproductive) cells are not affected.

@BartoszMilewski@mathstodon.xyz AFAIK the reduced genome is then the same across all somatic cells, so it is still almost true that "every cell contain the complete blueprint"
