@n2o @signalapp True, but they could detect & warn users client-side. The client needs to decrypt user names & pictures anyway.

@vieuxrenard @n2o @signalapp But how? Any detection algorithm would end up in the client’s open source code, making it easy to bypass detection in the next round of attacks.
