My discontent for Tim Cook has been festering for a while. And while I do find it easy to be critical of his authoritarian knee bending, we shouldn't overlook how bad Tim has been for the values of Apple. Under Tim's leadership Apple optimized for stock price. Most of the products have just been coasting for the last 10 years. Tim did not know how to embrace change. Rules that were in place when he took over never changed, as a result. Over the last 7-10 years Tim failed to meet the moment.
