The Australian government will do nothing of note, because the scapegoating of the prime minister by the press wasted all of the government's political capital that they were saving up for some big swings. Combustion engine cars become basically irrelevant outside of the US, Canada, and EU. Because if a country doesn't have a domestic car industry then cheap Chinese ev's are just better. In Australia you can see quite a lot of them. For a big swing, I'm going with Trump dying. He's pretty old, does not live a very healthy lifestyle, and he's got some pretty rabid followers. I'll hedge my bets and say Trump or Musk.
