@arroz I was wondering if this school's location could be a case of environmental racism (disproportionate proximity and greater exposure of Indigenous, Black and other racialized communities to polluting industries and environmentally hazardous activities).
Seems likely.
From the below, the school demographics are:
42% Hispanic
36% Black
14% 2 or more races
16% White
2% Asian

@PapyrusBrigade Pretty sure that’s the case without even looking. Highways were (are?) a big part of that.
