For the record the way you reset the GPS is by holding down the front defroster button until the “on star” light flashes.
Totally intuitive 🙄

@dan christ on a fucking crutch, you cannot fucking be serious. I still remember VERY well how to calibrate the Isuzu Rodeo's compass, which is required after the battery is drained. Drive a compass rose. That's it. Do a simple 4 point maneuver in a parking lot and you're done.
