okay, nobody actually needs to turn on "Operator-Assisted Dialing" anymore. But perhaps you need to use "Advanced" > "Advanced Settings..." (yes, really) to change your network provider order? If you're on Windows 11, tough luck! Time to look up a magic rundll32 command to open that dialog, I guess

I wonder if this was a conscious decision, where they actually checked each of these custom menu additions and decided "nah, nobody actually needs this anymore" - or if they just went "well I don't know anyone who relies on this menu bar, so just remove it, yolo"
