I've always loved this place and understand how FLW would see the potential for cohabiting with water and trees in this way.
Not surprisingly the elaborately constructed dwelling built in the 1930s hasn't weathered time and the elements perfectly; the cantilevered terraces buckled and the roof leaked for decades, for starters.
Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and managed by a non-profit, its recent preservation effort is finished.
