@leo plus windows update has that "download from local windows devices" thing which has dramatically lowered the amount of bandwidth necessary when I'm updating like fifty devices at once. when the dumb thing works, of course, which is not guaranteed. but like in theory the p2p updating thing should be better than hitting a server fifty times for a 4gb file

@vn yeah but ive never seen google download an update, spin the fans up to 100% for 45 minutes trying to install it, then give up and revert it 3 times in a row before i give up and reinstall the system. multiple times.
