I really hate “Game Mode” on iOS. The only concrete effect I have ever observed is that it blocks the function of the camera control button, a button the entire point of which is that it makes the camera always one button press away. And even when I turn it off, it still pops up a stupid banner (that, unlike regular notifications, can’t be swiped away early) that often blocks interface elements in the game I am trying to play. #Apple #iOS #UI
