About the autumn-theme, I kinda tried to make the sounds feel "autumny". Most of the sounds were made on an Elektron Analog Four, which I recently acquired, so this is my first try on that machine. The sounds were meant to invoke rain (the pitter-patter percussion after the intro), storm (the noisy synths), howling wind, and frost (the "shimmery" outbursts). All synth sounds were made on the Analog, except the outbursts which were made on the FM-synth. 🧵...

The workflow for this track was changed from my latest release (Abstract Wall), where I had made a bunch of disconnected patterns in the Digitone, which I recorded and assembled in Ardour on the computer, and spent a lot of time and energy mixing and re-recording. For this new track I made the vow that I should finish everything on the synth/sequencer itself, mixing eq and levels, adjusting synth-sounds live. And then just make minor adjustments on the computer. And I think it went pretty well.
