The joys of replacing a light fixture in my century home. Who needs a ground wire?

@tsherrygeo@m.ai6yr.org I know that the beaded-metal pull cord is stronger, but with no ground at the fixture, have you considered an insulated cord pull just in case that LED fixture ever shorts out to the mount? (Looks like there is a pull-lead coupler a few inches down from the fixture that could accommodate an insulated pull?)
