It's been a few years, but I've had great experiences in one here in SLC. They also had pretty affirming slogans on the walls that added to my confidence (as a newly out trans guy). I have also heard stories about the phobes trying to complain about trans people, and getting their own membership canceled. I'm pretty sure you can hold high expectations, and they'll have your back. @julie @darkphoenix
