@hazelweakly im wondering how exaggerated each one is now… I know people have been complaining about GitHub being down a lot recently

@adrianc They’re not necessarily exaggerating, they’re just counting in different ways, and neither way is going to match how GitHub feels qualitatively for each person For example, I’ve personally had zero issues, but I know tons of people have, and so I’m more sensitive to that because I’m primed for it. But people who are personally affected feel it much more severely. 89% uptime feels fine until that 11% covers 90% of your usage. Aggregate statistics are funny like that, which is one reason why they almost never feel real
