    @berniethewordsmith@neopaquita.es @pluralistic@mamot.fr The one quality I noticed back in my USENET days was the assumed level of knowledge. Some groups are fine with clueless newbie questions (even ones that are in the FAQ), other groups are strictly for "Great Experts pontificating solely for the benefit of other Great Experts"* and clueless questions would at best be ignored. * To steal a line from Anna Russell.
