Uhm.. wtf?! What is the plan here, to just completely deprive your own country of electronics?
There is not even remotely enough capacity in the US for testing and bringing up test labs takes a long time. Let alone the gigantic cost difference.

@timonsku@mastodon.social I made the comment that the electronics in the US might become like the cars in Cuba (ancient but kept running) after the announcement of the 150% tariffs. Seems like more of the same from the clowns in charge. It all seems to strongly favor big business over small.
