How do you feel about illustrations in (non-comic) books? Depends on the book. Non-fiction? Often helpful and necessary. Even in fiction, maps can be useful. I'm good with small markers at chapter and scene breaks (but my personal philosophy embraces "less is more") Interstitial sketches, portraits, and the like? I'm in the "why did you break me out of the story for this?" camp. Also, since I only read ebooks, they're often poorly presented and sometimes hard to make out. #ScribesAndMakers
