"Always On The Move" for #WildlifeWednesday & #MeerMittwoch
Twentyone Sanderlings and an incoming wave. These little birds (winter visitors to our beaches) forage in the intertidal zone, pulling small creatures out of the soft sand. They are always on the move, running away with each incoming wave, and then straight back in.
