@uriel I don't think I *could* have used Thunderbird, in 2000! But yes, since then, "just let things fall off the back of the inbox if not answered yet" has become my basic strategy.

@simontatham I don't think I could have used Thunderbird, in 2000! sure, thunderbird started in 2003, but at the time there was Eudora, which was even more powerful and supported IMAP4.1 very well. So you could have done it with Eudora, too.
