So that thing recently where one separatist organizing group got copy of The Republican Party of Alberta's copy of the viewer registration list, and then made it accessible to volunteers working for them (apparently it was a searchable database in an app they downloaded?), well, the UCP (current political party leading Alberta) may have known about it for weeks. https://globalnews.ca/news/11831942/dangerous-violation-jason-kenney-alleged-centurion-project-leak/ Danielle Smith and the UCP are supposed to be the "United Conservative Party" but separatist and far right groups like Take Back Alberta (mentioned in the article) are a main reason Danielle Smith got the premier spot and they are a powerful portion of the current voting base of the party itself. Smith pretends to not favour the separatists and far right but it's pretty obvious that she's close to them, so finding this out in the article isn't surprising. I've also seen some articles mentioning that there may not be a legal way to go after those responsible, currently
