@nobodyinperson Huh, that makes a lot of sense. But this only works for diff's, not for the file previews, right? If yes then this is mostly orthogonal to external renderers, those affect the file previews but not the diff's.
This opens up some possibilities I haven't considered yet... Does this integrate in some way with Forgejo's image diff's? Probably not, since textconv is explicitly text-only. Can Forgejo do anything with external diff commands?
