Where was your outrage about WebUSB? Oh wait, you didn’t have any, because your job was selling that technology to web devs

@jaffathecake To be clear, if you have had a change of heart, that’s great But just own the fact that you took Google’s money and in exchange you worked on getting them enough market dominance and webdev mindshare dominance to let them do this kind of thing now

@dpk @jaffathecake considering that there's enough demand for WebUSB that there is now a third party implementation in Firefox, I'm not sure that's comparable

@dpk I wasn't involved in WebUSB and can't remember the nature in which it shipped. But, at Firefox, we've been working on an implementation of WebSerial, and I'm absolutely supportive of that https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=926940
