Luddites hate technology because it was taking them "away from god" conservative dog shit religious rhetoric.
Being against progress such as a word processor that helps you write better is a shit take.

That is actually capitalist propaganda against the Luddites, who actually cared about worker's rights in a ever-changing world of technology being used by the owner class to reduce jobs and pay less. An example today would be artists and image generators.
