My workplace/university charges $50 to park on campus, but that's only a "hunting license" - it's no guarantee there will be a space available since they oversell. And now they are closing a 300 space lot for a year with no word on any additional spaces added.
I am sure glad I live close enough to walk 😡

In general it will be the poorest employees this affects, since they also sell an expensive, guaranteed space permit that no one making under $50k can afford. Those spaces sit half empty half the workday. Employee parking passes should be scaled to how much one gets paid
