@christianselig@mastodon.social I will forever believe that spez has been alt-right for years before this Elon turn. My guess is he rallied investor support way back in 2015 to keep the_donald up and running. His awfulness is a large contributing factor to why Alexis dipped out.

@christianselig@mastodon.social Yeah this is exactly what I suspected to have happened. That being said, I don't know if Spez actually CHANGED per se, or if he was always a dickhead and just took Elon getting away with it as a blank check to go full mask off. I've said before that social media CEOs tend to be childish and self absorbed, and Spez was the first real world example I had the displeasure of running into.
