@FediThing Maybe try Bookshop.org? I *think* they are UK based, they do eBooks - whether they are DRM free, I don't know though.

@FediThing I thought kobo only sells DRMd books. Ebooks.com is based in AU, I think, and they have a clearly defined section for drm free books.

@FediThing I've had good luck with indigo.ca giving me actual epub files I can load into calibre, but I'm not sure it applies to every eBook or just a subset of what they sell
