Hey there folks ... I have been thinking a lot recently. The political and social situation in Germany is deteriorating by the day. Authoritarism on the rise, medical, education and social services under attack and the fascist AfD party is now projected to be the strongest in the federal elections. Meanwhile the coalition is hell bent to revert the past 10 years of progress in our civil society and even attacks fundametnal labor laws that have been around for 100 years. Their coalition is also close to collapse, so is our medical system. With fascism being pushed by the CDU (the governing party) and the AfD, fascist across the country feel strengthened to go on the offensive. Queer people, clubs and other institutions are under attack online and offline. My partner and I have increasingly been targeted by transphobic (in my case) or racist (in their case) violence and police profiling. That's why I am currently contemplating leaving Germany. But where to? The situation in other EU countries doesnt seem more stable. That's why I am askimg for your help. If you love in another European/EU country and would like to provide some insides into the situation in your home I would greatly appreciate it. Countries I have looked into so far: - Iceland - Norway - The Netherlands - Denmark - Belgium Thank you so much, stay strong y'all. :neocat_hug_f:
