@billgoats@bitbang.social my old Kindle has been offline for ten years, been using Calibre to convert and upload books, no faffing about needed.

@pixelworship @billgoats Mine too. I don't know if the jail breaking problem has to do with wanting internet access. I keep mine in airplane mode. I add books by connecting it with a cable to a computer running Calibre.
