esteemed science faculty - all white - at a prominent PNW university confidently proclaim "There is no racism. I've certainly never seen any." Some of these are people you've seen on TV as they address the most prestigious scientific bodies on earth.

... accept, but this is and always has been a fundamentally racist nation. Every part of it. From sea to shining sea. From skid row to Wall Street. From the schoolhouse to the Ivy League. From the storefront churches to the National Cathedral.
