My review of the SuperStation is: oof
For a drop-in replacement for a Playstation, it’s not nearly good enough. The disc drive add-on shipped without working. There was no UI aside the default MiSTer menu. The PS1 controller ports don’t work by default. No documentation. No communication. Extremely rough out-of-the-box experience. I was not happy.
As a cheap MiSTer… maybe?

Have you used it since they released the new UI layer? Is MISTer any easier to set up? I bought the SSO and haven’t opened it yet, waiting for the software to not be a full-time project, so I’m not asking snidely. I just thought it was essentially a full-fledged MISTer for a cheap price and as a bonus has a few bells & whistles and a nice hardware shell. So I’m confused.
