As an FYI, my cut (which is taken out of the publisher cut) is going directly into the Scalzi Family Foundation, which we use to help fund local organizations, for artist and creator grants, and other such stuff. Prioritize WCK, but no matter what a fair share of your money will go to helping other people.

@scalzi@mastodon.social just curious about why it's not available to Commonwealth countries? I'd have gladly kicked in, but "this promotion is currently unavailable in your area" 😞

@scalzi@mastodon.social Ok, I overcame my reticence in buying books from authors I follow on social media and decided to order your whole lot. Paid double so hoping the numbers will show a boost. In the past I liked the social posts from authors back when Twitter was a better alternative than FB, but only a temporary refuge till Fediverse entirely met my priorities. But oh my I couldn’t even finish a Chuck W, a Laren H and a David B novel. Your review on Locked In sounds good. So I went for the whole shebang. And WCK is so worth sending some $ for.
