@intransitivelie Lets imagine for a moment that racism doesn't actually exist. Just like the God of the old testament we learn that /race/ was just a fiction. We also no longer believe in possession and realize that our modern beliefs are merely mutations of primitive ideas. That White people exist at all is another question - since in this make believe any bias can be questioned. Much less, that for virtue of being White they/we alone must /be/ a certain way - do we divest w/ original sin?

@chloechloechloe Racism isn't a quality one has. It's a result of actions and systems. If we woke up tomorrow and race no longer existed, the world would still be the result of racist systems and white supremacy. I'm not sure what your thought experiment is intended to do other than make you feel better about the fact that racism exists. You can't think your way out of racist systems any more than you can think your way out of any other result of the world existing as it has and does.
