Ok so I have a nothing phone 1 that I bought used. I got a good deal on it, because it was bootlooping, and I figured I could fix it. And indeed, I did! Yay!
However, it has factory reset protection ("FRP"), which means that I can't actually use the damn thing. The previous owner claims not to have the PIN or access to the Google account, which is somewhat suspicious, but whatever.
There are "tutorials" online claiming that this-or-that software can bypass the FRP. Are there any that won't just straight-up scam me? I don't mind the risk of malware, because I'll be running the application in a Windows VM anyway
